US West Coast – Pacific Islands
A bi-monthly multipurpose liner service connecting USA West Coast main ports with the Pacific Islands. Via this service, direct containerized, breakbulk and project cargo can be transported to the South Pacific, with transshipment available via the port of Apia (Samoa) to Tonga, Cook Islands, Niue, Tuvalu, Wallis & Futuna, Fiji, New Caladonia, Vanuatu, Australia and New Zealand.
Swire Shipping operates two dedicated vessels on this service. Polynesia, one of the vessels deployed on the service, is named after ‘Polynesia Line’, what the service is affectionately known to customers.
