Revised Tariff Rule - Free Time and Demurrage in The Far East
Westbound from the U.S. and Canada to Japan

Dear Valued Customer

Westwood Shipping Lines is providing advance notice of change to the exception clause of the free time and demurrage tariff rule #17, Section 6.b.1, in the Far East effective July 10, 2023.

Twenty-Four (24) total calendar days free time will be allowed on containers moving under Hay/Straw/Grass/Oats/Animal Feed/Buckwheat to Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Hakata, Shimizu, and Tomakomai, direct call.

Japan: Charges apply after the expiry of free time

1,000 JPY per standard 20ft container
1,000 JPY per standard/hi-cube 40ft container
