Japan Advance Filing (AFR) Surcharge

Westwood Shipping Lines is providing advance notification of an increase to Japan Advance Filing (AFR) surcharge effective September 1, 2023, applicable to all westbound cargoes from North America to Japan.

This change applies to all cargoes moving under Service Contracts, Freight Agreements, or Tariff rates and is based on the date of cargo receipt at B/L origin:

Japan Advance Filing (AFR) Surcharge Effective September 1, 2023:

US$35.00 per B/L for all Japan-destined cargo
