Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS) Implementation Notice
Dear Valued Customer,
In reference to the earlier market notice distributed on 6 March 2026 regarding rising fuel costs, we wish to inform you that we will be implementing an Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS).
EFS Application:
This surcharge applies to all containerised cargo (dry, reefer, special equipment) as well as all breakbulk/LCL shipments moving on the trades listed below, including transshipment cargo. It will be chargeable in addition to our prevailing Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) and will be reviewed periodically.
The EFS will take effect from 10 April 2026 (loading date), or subject to regulatory filings where applicable, and will remain in place until further notice. It will be phased in progressively and adjusted as necessary to reflect prevailing fuel market conditions. Other operational costs remain under review.
