This is to advise that the British Columbia Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA) announced today that a tentative agreement has been reached in the labor negotiation with the ILWU of Canada. Accordingly, the terminals will begin full operation on May 30, 2019 at 1630 local time.

Westwood will return to its normal schedule. Westerland will call the DPW terminal on Friday and discharge and load containers before returning to Tacoma to finish loading. Westwood Victoria will remain in Tacoma to load on Friday and will depart for Asia Friday evening. All other ships will remain as scheduled.

Westwood appreciates the efforts of the ILWU and the BCMEA to resolve the issues between them and to reopen the terminals for cargo operations.
